On Jay's video, the shelby(65)he talks about the barracuda 64-66,as being just a valiant...this is true, however the 67-69,68 included,Became its own version-then and only those particular year models were comparable to the mustang.Believe it or not,as you will, the barracuda did out perform the mustang in handling and speed. Personally, from experience because i've had the rare opportunity of owning, driving and servicing all three comparable cars. <<<<<cars i owned were the 1968 plymouth barracuda(fastback),the 1977 camaro(RS) and my now owned 1969 mustang coupe, which has been in my family since the showroom day in which it was purchased. BTW...i got my drivers license in this particular mustang..lol All three cars were simular in size and weight...Speed wise goes to the mustang...track time goes to the Camaro...But the Barracuda saved my bacon..as far as driveability reliabilty for a brand-new driver that had an attitude for machinery.I grew-up with this car the car fit my personality--it was My chariot of the day,my sidekick,my trusty steed. I truly loved owning all three cars...I wish i still owned the barracuda and the Camaro..just so I could let people drive them and truly compare them for themselves.
